When the judges at the 2015 Great Taste Awards named our sourdough crispbread “The best biscuit for cheese out there” we were delighted and last year we decided it was time to help celebrate great British Cheese. We teamed up with Great British Chefs to bring you the first Great British Cheese Awards. Over 7500 people voted for their favourite cheeses, producers and cheese shops, with both new and established names winning awards.
Now in their second year, the awards celebrate the best of British cheese, produced and distributed by independent cheesemakers and retailers. With Great British Chefs, we bring together a community of fine food lovers, producers, chefs, restaurants, pubs, bloggers and food writers to nominate and vote for their favourite cheeses and discover the best cheese shops in the UK.
